After playing…err…learning about Wordpress for the past few days, I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s pretty good! It’s certainly a next-generation product compared to my previous serendipity-based blog. The layout is cleaner (when using a good theme), the code is faster (serendipity was painfully slow) and the web administration is much easier. All-in-all, I give Wordpress an A+!
I think I got all of the layout issues resolved for this theme. Had to touch up the CSS ever so slightly to make the random image plug-in blend in a bit better with the theme. I think it looks good now…until I decide to change themes. All these layout tweaks makes me wish I was more creative when it comes to web pages and graphics.
